Mission
The mission of the Alcester Public Library is to provide quality materials and services which fulfill educational informational, cultural, and recreational needs of the entire community in an atmosphere that is welcoming, respectful, and businesslike.
Brief History

1934 the Alcester Public Library was opened.

1991 the Alcester Public Library combined with the Alcester-Hudson School District to make the Alcester Community Library

2019 The Alcester Community Library moved from the former High/Jr School building on Dakota Street to the new High/JR School building on 6th Street in Alcester.
